I held a fascination for the creative Arts from early age on. It led me to start exhibiting my work in 1980. I have had numerous one woman shows and participated in group exhibitions. In addition to exhibiting in private, business and public venues, it has been my pleasure to create custom originals for art clients. I have specialized in animal portraits, nature and Celtic & Native spiritual themes. Since childhood i have been inspired by the magic of the natural world. Over the years my experiences in theater, classical ballet, graphic art, greeting card design, photography, veterinary care, gardening, rock collecting, sewing, jewelry design, drum painting, custom framing, flute playing and nature hikes have all fueled my passion for visual expression. I work in several mediums. Oils, pen & ink, watercolor and acrylic are among my favorites. I have studied animals and plants for more than 35 years, and paint them with a twist. Sometimes a human being is my subject. There's a portrait of Camille Claudel for instance.
